than a standard bin. To use it, place grass clippings, leaves, pine needles, and fruit
and vegetable scraps in the bin, and add water to keep the mixture moist. Use your
foot to spin the unit five to ten times every few days, aerating the mixture. Return the
mixer to its stand, with the current day of the week facing upward, to help aerate the
compost even more. The extra thick, black plastic walls help retain heat, cooking
your compost and speeding the decomposition process. The plastic is also enhanced
with UV inhibitors, for protection against the sun for several seasons. Small holes
around the vessel allow more air into the mix, and help excess water drain out to
maintain the right moisture and temperature levels. The lid easily locks in place for
convenience and protection of the compost. The unique design of this mixer creates
